Paul Anthony Pierce is a former professional basketball player from the United States. Pierce was born on October 13, 1977. He was a member of the Boston Celtics for most of his 19 seasons spent playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA). In high school, Pierce was named to the McDonald’s All-American team, and in his junior year at Kansas, he was selected to the first team of consensus All-America.

He was a standout for the Celtics, receiving 10 All-Star nods and being a member of the All-NBA team four times during the course of his career.
