 Maisie Hannah Peters was born on May 28th, 2000 in a tiny town in the county of West Sussex, England, to her mother, who was a teacher, and her father, who worked in communications. She is the identical twin of her sister Ellen. Around the age of eight, Peters began his singing career and began performing in choruses. She composed her first song when she was nine years old, and she began composing songs regularly when she was twelve years old, after borrowing a friend’s guitar for a school assignment.


Her first song was titled “I’ll Be There.” When she was just 15 years old, she started performing original music on the streets of Brighton and uploaded it on YouTube. In 2016, when she was 15 years old, Peters gave her first recorded performance. She appeared on The Ayala Show and sang some of her own original songs..Peters released her first track, titled “Place We Were Made,” through her own independent label in August 2017.
