Andrew Bazzi was born on August 28th, 1997 in the city of Dearborn, located in the state of Michigan, United States. His family is of American and Lebanese descent, and they are middle class. In 2014, he went to Los Angeles with his father in order to pursue a career in music. He began his academic career at PCEP Michigan but later moved there with his father. In 2015, he graduated from Santa Monica High School having earned his high school diploma.
Since he was a young boy, Bazzi has had an interest in music, and his parents have always supported and pushed him to pursue it.

He gave his first live performance when he was in the sixth grade and performed ‘Talking to the Moon’ by Bruno Mars at a talent contest. In addition to that, he sang in the choir at his local church. He began learning to play the guitar when he was four years old, and by the time he was 15, he had already put cover songs on YouTube. Within the space of a year, he produced a vine that served as a stepping stone to his eventual triumph. Artists and organizations such as Guns N’ Roses, Duran Duran, Justin Timberlake, and Bryson Tiller were important to him as musical inspirations.
