South Korean singer and dancer Park Ji-min (Korean: born October 13, 1995), better known by his stage name Jimin, was given his birth name in Korean. It was in 2013 when he first appeared publicly as a performer, making his debut with the South Korean boy band BTS, which is signed to the record label Big Hit Entertainment. Jimin has released three solo tracks under the BTS name: “Lie” in 2016, “Serendipity” in 2017, and “Filter” in 2020. All three of these songs have charted on the Gaon Digital Chart in South Korea.

In 2018, he was given credit for writing and releasing his first solo song, a digital single titled “Promise.” Two years later, in 2022, he collaborated with Ha Sung-Woon to record the duet “With You” for the soundtrack of the TV drama Our Blues. In 2023, Jimin published his first album under his own name, titled Face. It debuted at number one in South Korea and Japan, as well as number two in the United States, while the second single from the album, “Like Crazy,” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
