Danny DeVito was born in Neptune Township, New Jersey, USA, on November 17, 1944, to Julia and Daniel DeVito. His father was a modest business entrepreneur who ran a dry cleaners and a luncheonette, while his mother was a stay-at-home mom. In 1984, he joined another successful enterprise, named ‘Romancing the Stone.’ The film starred his pal Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner in an action-adventure romantic comedy.
