After finishing college, he made a name for himself as a promising voice actor, appearing in commercials for major brands including Coke, Pizza Hut, IBM, Delta Airlines, and many more. David moved to Toronto in 1996 to play Lumiere in the Canadian production of “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast,” a role he would reprise many times in several National Tours. He also appeared in TV movies of the week (A Time to Triumph, 1987) and feature films (King Kong Lives, 1986) and spent time in both Broadway companies (the Palace and the Lunt-Fontanne, 1996–1997). At the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in 2007, he performed the last number. Then, he became a member of the “Wicked” cast, performing as Dr. Dillamond in Chicago, Los Angeles, and the show’s second national tour.
