Haviland Morris Bio

Haviland Morris is an American actress who has worked in cinema, television, and Broadway productions. She was born on September 14, 1959, and she presently works in real estate. Morris was raised in Hong Kong and Singapore for the better part of her youth despite being born in Loch Arbour, New Jersey. Her father had a career in the electronic component manufacturing sector. Morris attended Purchase College for her acting training and graduated from there in 1982. In addition, she was a fellow student of Stanley Tucci. The character of Caroline Mulford in the film Sixteen Candles brought Haviland Morris the lion’s share of her fame. In addition to that, she had roles in Gremlins 2: The New Batch and Madonna’s Who’s That Girl.

In 1997, Morris performed the role of Karen Pruitt in Home Alone 3, and from 2001 to 2003, she portrayed Dr. Claire Baxter on One Life to Live. In the widely played video game Max Payne, she gave the voice to the character Michelle Payne. In addition to guest starring on Sex and the City and other programs, she has made appearances in all three of the Law & Order television series. She had an appearance in the indie movie “Cherry Crush” in the year 2007. In 2008, she appeared in the television show One Tree Hill multiple times in the role of a counselor. It’s possible that John Hughes’s Sixteen Candles would have taken on a somewhat different appearance if Molly Ringwald had her choice of Jake Ryan to play the lead role. The picture, which was directed by Hughes for the first time in 1984, stars Ringwald as Sam Baker, a sophomore in high school.
